Cornbread.
I USE AUNT JEMINA CORNMEAL SELF-RISING AND GOLD MEDAL SELF-RISING FLOUR. .
2CUPS CORNMEAL .
1 CUP OF FLOUR.
1EGG .
2 cups flour.
ADD MILK UNTIL TEXTURE IS ABOUT LIKE CAKE BATTER.
PREHEAT OVEN TO 400, MIX INGREDIENTS TOGETHER,
TAKE A SKILLET, CAST IRON IF HAVE ONE,
COVER THE BOTTOM WITH OIL, GET THE
SKILLET HOT AND POUR IN THE MIX,
PUT IT INTO THE OVER AND BAKE
FOR 25-30 MINUTES, OR UNTIL THE TOP IS GOLDEN BROWN.
SOMETIMES I AD WHOLE KERNEL CORN DRAINED(softened)
INTO THE BATTER AND BAKE SAME WAY.
ALSO CAN FRY UP SOME HAMBURGER AND MAKE SURE
NO LUMPS AND DRAIN OFF THE GREASE AND PUT INTO THE BATTER.
BOTH ARE GOOD, SOMETIME I ADD JALOPENA PEPPERS
AND THAT RELLY MAKES IT GOOD.
